As a former person who worked at an independent movie theatre and with it's finances….AMC and movie theatres becoming obsolete was always inevitable since the digital camera came into fashion over film….that's just a fact…now I cannot hate on something trying to save its own neck but I think that the Grandin Theatre found a healthy way to do that by becoming a city of Roanoke historic landmark – shoe's on the other foot now AMC muahaha 🙂 Secondly, I wouldn't be surprised(however this needs further study) I'd be surprised if "Hollywood's" books match up with a proper valuation.

Hollywood itself puts out watered down, SJW crap. Even if the restrictions were lifted, attendance won't be high enough to keep theatres solvent. Get rid of the preachy "lessons" movies are contaminated with, make movies people want to see, and attendance will improve. We've had enough of the smarmy left wing garbage. OF COURSE, the Jackass Party is all for destroying jobs, to create harder times, something authoritarians salivate over.

If the theaters get bail outs, I will be one of the people rioting in the streets. Its bad enough when they do it for useful or semi-regular industries(airlines, banks, etc) but MOVIE THEATERS ARE NOT ESSENTIAL, THEY ARE NOT EVEN A LUXURY, THEY ARE A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME, SPACE, MONEY AND BRAIN POWER SINCE EVERY TIME YOU GO SEE A BIG HOLLYWOOD MOVIE YOU LOOSE A FEW IQ POINTS.

Who cares about movie theaters they are completely irrelevant and have nothing to do with the real economy. Their passing will barely be noticed and should not even be mentioned.

Please do a video explaining why stock market is at all-time high right now given so much deaths, bankruptcies, and job cuts and pay cuts.. And does it mean if there was no COVID right now, we could reasonably assume stocks should be double where they are right now.

Show the existence of the virus under a real microscope not CGI or cartoons and demonstrate how it is contagious. If they can't do that, the conversation is over. There is no killer virus. occasionally you would see propagandists saying that there's evidence that they made the virus. that just implies that the virus really exist. my stance is that the virus doesn't exist unless proven. I'm not going to even bother debate something that can't be proven to be true.

Move Theaters are a legacy of a bygone era. The reason theaters were created was because that was the only way to watch film. Even after the TV was invented, the cost of TVs were too expensive for most people. Nowadays your phone can be your movie theater, and 55"/65" TVs are so cheap that it makes no sense to go to the theater, unless you like paying for over priced popcorn.

One thing that this recession has taught is that technology could have replaced a lot of legacy methods we do. We can work from home and we can watch movies from home. Soon enough other businesses will be effected as people learn they don't need to go out anymore.
