They need to go back to the old jersey's they had when we won the national title 2013. The new jersey's we have now is bad luck for us in the last few years now…

Not great by any means, but the shred of positivity is welcome in these trying times.

To me Tate didn't look better than Blackman. Correction we knew Travis could throw. Willie wanted to reserve Travis. Mike Tried to reserve Travis but to get a win he had to which it up. Great Job.

We aren’t use to being at the bottom of the pack.. it’s been a long time.
This staff can only do so much with this group of kids.. if they can recruit we will be back but it’s going to take 2-3 years.. just the way it is. Florida and Miami were down for years, be patient!

This coaching staff is horrible. So the offense needs a mobile QB, why did this staff stop recruiting Jeff Sims? That kid Tate is not good. The 28 year old OC doesn't know his butt from a hole in the ground.

Did JT have a serious shoulder injury last year, that Briles/Tagg didn’t let him throw the ball?

    Three things:
1.) I don’t care who we played, 5 consecutive TD drives is a significant step.
2.) Finally some Gonads, Not to revert back to Blackman. TG
    3.) Our Defensive needs Help.

SMH @ what this university has come too…we are excited over a come behind win to Jacksonville State. This is pathetic. I am sure this team will look nothing like Notre Dame or Clemson. Dammit we are Florida State…not celebrating this BS.

We got a long, long way to go… but THANK GOODNESS they won… because as much noise as I’m hearing from Florida and Miami fans, FSU still hasn’t had a loss to a school like Georgia Southern, LOL…

reminds me of how bad Charlie Ward was,, he was a turnover machine.. The game against GT , down by multiple TD's, they put Ward in the shotgun…. the rest was FSU Hall of Fame History Not saying this kid is Ward but it's fun to watch an adjustment or change come to fruition.

Jordan Travis is the no 1 QB. He gives you the best chance to win with that inconsistent O-line. His ability to scramble keeps plays (hope) alive. That said you need to develop your young QBs in Purdy and Rodemaker. Get them some snaps but without taking away from Travis’ development. The thing about Norvell is he has a system that works. You don’t need 5 stars to mask any bad coaching or lack of coaching. What you want are guys who can play hard and minimize mistakes. You get that foundation built, the team starts winning. Then the recruiting pipe gets turned back on.

I really hate how yall dump on Blackman and are so ready to see him turn in his jersey but you give everyone else a pass. Really?! The defense is ok but Blackman sucks?! You're out of your minds. Jacksonville State was up 21-7. Yall just don't like Blackman. Plain and simple and so just say it. Stop this dance like you're just being fair. The problem with this team is the defense. Point blank and period. Everyone else sees it but you.

I’m glad we won but people need to be realistic Jordan Travis is on borrowed time before he is injured. Elite defenses will shut him down and or neutralize him by going for his legs which will lead to an injury. I know this is not what the fans want to hear but this is real life. HE IS ON BORROWED TIME! For FSU’s sake I truly hope that I am wrong.

I am neither a coach nor a technical football analyst. I am just an FSU fan who has watched the first 4 games. Two to three quarterbacks were shuffled in and out for each game. The only quarterback who consistently moved the team, or gave me a sense of optimism or confidence each down played, was Travis. When, admittedly against Jacksonville State, he was finally given the opportunity to throw, he proved that he was a dual threat quarterback.. Moreover, his running threat not only opens passing lanes, but running lanes as well.. Travis's likely being named a starter with FSU, reminds me of the Mark Brunel emergence with the Jaguars.

Gimme game, yet FSU allows 24 to a nobody team. If you are proud of this win, you are truly an eligitament FSU fan.
No one is off the hook on this one.
    Nother Dame is next….
Let's see what you got, FSU!

I know it’s Jacksonville St. I know they’re FCS. But this was a HUGE win. Jordan Travis changes the complexion of the offense and makes it so much harder for opposing defenses to pin their ears back and attack the QB. He mitigates an opposing pass rush. He isn’t an amazing thrower but from what I saw today, he isn’t inept by any stretch of the imagination. Give him time, reps, and support and Travis will surprise some folks. The defense was the biggest concern today.

Taggart would have blown this game. The proper adjustments were made regardless of the opponent and the result was a victory. FSU has the right coaches and their schemes will only be more effective especially as these young players develop.

Do they not realize jordan travis cant do this against a real team. Now teams will prepare for it. That oline is still that same oline. Btw he still isnt comfortable throwing. Former 6 and 6 Fcs opponent folks, kinda like practice

Jordan Travis is the only FSU QB that has an elite skill – he is an excellent runner. That skill, once it leads to success, can open some things in the passing game. That mitigates against him not being a great natural passer. He should’ve played much earlier. The reason he didn’t is because so many college football coaches want guys to run their system rather than adapt their coaching to the best players on the team.
