I generally think this is a top 5 worst episode from the first 7 seasons and the worst of season 1 and I like spinner and jimmy..thats how bad it is but it has the iconic spinner dance showing how even some of the bad eps have iconic moments and it sets up the sean jimmy fight so its very important for that build up too

I always liked how Degrassi gave us different types of characters hanging out together and they were not all the exact same cause that can get really boring to watch. I like watching different personalities people form different lifestyles backgrounds with unique desires wants needs interact in a show cause it makes the interactions way more engaging with some sense of drama or conflict rather than just agreeing all the time and being nice. Spinner for example is nothing like Marco Craig Sean or Jimmy even if he hangs out with them hes a loser jerk version of the popular kids to contrast with the good looking smarter cool upper class kids you would expect to see in that clique. He handles things one way and Jimmy will handle them another and will be able to use his mind and power in his position to do good and stop himself from doing bad things as he knows better where as spin usually has to make up for a mistake he already made and say sorry more often and they use spin's naive dumb nature to make it seem like its ok he didn't know any better like a puppy. Interesting way to paint the two characters as friends. I wonder how they got so close pre series.

I'm wondering if any of you guys were into/are into the other Canadian classic The Kids in the Hall? It's an amazingly hilarious show and some of the members were big into the punk scene too.
