The government needs to do more to protect natural areas.
Ban single use plastic. Have a national tree planting program.
Stop burning coal. Support transition to all electric vehicles.
Add more open space, trees and natural areas in cities to help provide shade and cooling areas.
Encourage people to ride bicycles. Bicycles are fossil fuels free transportation.

India needs to dump fossil fuels. Phase out old coal power plants and stop adding any more new ones.
Add more wind and solar energy combined with battery storage for generating electricity.
Tax gas and diesel vehicles and give a subsidy for purchase of all electric vehicles.
News channels need to do more stories on the environment and climate change. The public needs to be educated.
People need to be more environmentally responsible. Want clean air to breathe go electric.
Explain how climate change is related to the hot weather extremes and droughts.
The weather is getting hotter every year. We need to act now.
