Good info Matt! Would you mind making a short video regarding taxes on bitcoin? Or is capital gains on bitcoin the same as stocks?

Something else you missed on top of the pass through deduction. If you have an llc and have it taxed as an scorp, you can take distributions on say half of what the business makes and not pay the self employment tax on that portion.

You can avoid federal capital gains taxes and some other taxes if you move to Puerto Rico and apply for a special tax decree. It’s a great place to live as well. Still part of the USA so no passport needed.

You can start withdrawing from an ira at any point before retirement with equal distributed payments, or something like that. Basically take average death age subtract from current age and divide your balance by that number, and that's how much you can take out per year. Once you start it though, you can't stop. Also if you are very frugal, you can get tax break going in and out of ira both ways. You can get tax break on a traditional ira before retirement, then after you retire or your income is lower and everything is piad off, then you can convert to a roth tax free with a roth conversion ladder and pull it out tax free.

Matt, your vids are so underrated. The two party system (if not arguably 1) is definitely broken. I'm a big fan of Roth, at least for now, and had never heard of investing your Roth into a business…just crazy!

House sold for AUD$2 000 000 in 2019. I (the tenant) currently rent for $28 600/year. House is falling down. Welcome to Melbourne, Australia!

Thanks heaps for this Video Matt. Do you think it's best for someone to pay off the home they live in before investing in other rental properties? Also, I'm in Australia and they are predicting house prices to drop by about 20 to 30% over the next year here. I am renting at the moment, and have put any side money in bitcoin and gold atm, should I keep renting and wait to buy once house prices come down in a few years?

Mathew, can you please do a video to educate us about the mechanics of money printing. For example, does every dollar come to life when the Fed buys treasuries? Does it mean that when the government pays back the Fed is like the Fed sucking money out of circulation?

Good stuff. I'm a CPA and Matthew identified most of the tax loopholes. Also, if you own your own company and incorporate as an S-Corp you can get out of paying most of the self-employment tax of 15.3%.
