How do Smokestacks Work?

You might not often think about smokestacks, but they are finely tuned and highly-engineered structures, designed to keep air pollution away from population …

"The risk of damage at medium and high levels is pretty similar." What the narrator leaves out is that, while the dose-response curve does level out, what that means is that at a certain point everyone is affected by damage. That does not mean, however, that high levels of pollutants aren't worse then medium levels. While nearly everyone will be affected once the does exceeds a certain level, higher levels of pollutants mean more damage. That's different than the linear no-threshold model (the straight line graph), which models stochastic events like radiogenic cancer, etc.

climate change paranoia is a libtard hoax.

Without natural climate change, we would still be in an ice age.

Chimneys existed long before the 12th century. Romans were using them hundreds of years earlier. A museum near me in York has a Roman chimney pot dating from around 400CE. Even earlier ones were recovered from Bedens Field in Kent.

Lmao, if only we could put portals on tops of smoke stacks and have it dump the CO2 to mars, terraforming it, encoraging the greenhouse effect and giving it an atmosphere. By the time SpaceX gets there the job would be done for them 😂.

Plus, I'm getting some Merry Poppins vibes every time the word "Chimney" was said.
